Evidence-based approaches coupled with experience and expertise

Pivot Behaviour Consultancy, led by Executive Consultant Linda Daniel, specialises in providing behaviour management solutions to non-government schools in Western Australia, including independent and Catholic schools. Our mission is to empower schools to create safe, inclusive, and productive learning environments through evidence-based behaviour engagement approaches, including Team Teach, Positive Behaviour Solutions and a Behaviour Engagement Framework (Levels of Behaviour), delivered via on-site school consulting or Microsoft Teams.

With over 20 years of experience in Western Australian schools, Linda Daniel is a leading expert in complex behaviours, trauma-informed practice, and evidence-based approaches such as Collaborative Problem Solving and the Berry Street Education Model. As a Team Teach accredited trainer, Linda has coached school leadership teams to implement targeted behaviour support initiatives through a case management framework, fostering high-trust, culturally responsive relationships with students, parents, and communities.

Linda has a distinguished record of establishing and leading Tier 3 alternative education settings, including complex behavior units, student support facilities, and engagement centres. She specialises in supporting disengaged students at risk of exclusion, high suspensions, or absenteeism by developing comprehensive learning and risk management plans. Her work emphasises building staff capacity through whole-school professional learning and coaching executive teams to create effective, systemic behaviour support strategies.

Recognised for her ability to cultivate respectful and inclusive partnerships, Linda’s expertise ensures sustainable, high-integrity outcomes for schools and their communities.

"On behalf of all of us at Servite College, thank you for generously sharing your time and expertise on our PL day. Your insights were practical and thought-provoking and will provide direction for how we can better support and engage our students."

Servite College Leadership Team

"The change in language and use of 'helpful' and 'unhelpful' has been a game changer with our students. When I was having difficulty getting a student to comply with heading back to her room, I thought, what would Linda say? I explained to the student that it would be helpful if she could return to her room. I witnessed the student physically relax and head to her room. so I was easier for me to support the other students to also follow the instruction."
